Privacy notice for custom quiz orders

Privacy notice

Simple version: your notes are used only to build your quiz. Note files are not emailed to the owner, are not reused for other customers, and should be deleted after delivery/support closure.

What is collected

QuizForge collects the information needed to process the order: name, email, package, subject, exam level, exam board or syllabus, topics to include/exclude, quiz preferences, deadline, and uploaded notes or syllabus files.

What is kept

Only limited order/admin information may be kept: order ID, package, customer email, subject, topics, delivery status, payment status, and support notes. This is used for fulfilment, accounting, customer support, fraud prevention, and resolving disputes.

What is removed

Uploaded source notes, syllabus files, slides, images and generated working files should be deleted after the quiz is delivered and any support/revision window has closed. The default MVP retention setting is configurable in config.php.

Uploads and owner notification

Uploaded files are stored in a private folder for fulfilment. They are not attached to email notifications. The owner receives a notification containing order details, subject and topic information, and the private stored filename needed to retrieve the upload.

Payment information

Payments should be handled by a payment provider such as Stripe, PayPal, Revolut or bank transfer. QuizForge does not store full card numbers, CVV codes, bank-login details or payment credentials. Payment provider dashboards may show masked or limited information such as the customer name, email, transaction ID, amount, date, status, and partial card details such as brand and last four digits. Full payment details should not be stored on the QuizForge website.

Masked or accidental sensitive information

If a customer accidentally uploads highly sensitive personal, financial, legal, medical or identity data that is not required for the quiz, it should be deleted or redacted as soon as practical. QuizForge should not keep unnecessary sensitive information.

Hosted quiz pages and access keys

If a quiz is delivered as a hosted private page, the quiz is accessed through a delivery key. Delivery keys can be disabled. Hosted pages are intended for the customer’s use only and should not be publicly indexed or redistributed.

What not to upload

Please do not upload highly confidential, medical, legal, financial, identity, or sensitive personal information unless strictly necessary for the quiz.

Deletion requests

You can request deletion of uploaded materials and fulfilment files. Some minimal records may still need to be kept for accounting, legal, dispute or fraud-prevention reasons.
